Phew, that was the first week of Wimbledon..and it seems to have flown by.
Gorgeous weather, some fantastic matches, certainly lots of upsets, and what's more Marat Safin and Mario Ancic, two of my favourite players, still remain in the competition.
The Safin/Seppi match was my favourite so far..which finished in almost pitch darkness on Friday night, but was fantastic entertainment for the crowd on number one Court,
How dark was it? This might give you some idea..

Sadly, all good things must come to an end and Monday is my last working day in SW19, though I think I'll be tempted back later in the week.
The prospect of another Federer/Nadal final is mouth-watering, though there are some players who might just upset what looks like an inevitable clash between the top two seeds. Roll on Monday when the top 16 line-ups in both the men's and ladies singles take place.
Did I mention the rain? No, mainly because, apart from a brief sprinkle on Friday, there hasn't been any...long may it continue!
Have a good week
