That is three weeks of my life that I will remember forever, it was a brilliant occasion, topped off by a fantastic ice hockey final between Canada and the USA won in overtime by the home country. Couldn't have ask for a better climax to the Games.
The half century has been achieved, but after, initially, fearing it, I'm going to embrace it.It's an important landmark, and not a millstone as I thought it was for many years.
You'll find my 50 at Fifty listed elsewhere on this site, it's a snapshot of music from my vast collection and, although there were a few omissions, I'm pretty happy with it.
