Nearly half of 2008 has gone - and, I really DON'T know where the time has gone!
In marked contrast to 2006, last year was a very enjoyable one and I am hoping that the coming eight months can build upon that.
What's coming up then? I hear you cry, or maybe not
June has been quite a busy month. After a thoroughly enjoyable trip to Liverpool for the GFSN Football Supporters gathering, well done Nottingham, it was the Olympic Diving Trials in Leeds, and following hot on the heels of that, I'm coming to the end of my involvement in the BBC Radio coverage of Wimbledon 2008.
Then onto August...the BIG event of the year - The Olympics in Beijing, followed almost immediately by the Paralympics.
It promises to be an exciting year, if everything goes to plan. Health-wise (touching wood) things are fine, blood pressure stabilised, could do with losing some weight, but that's the same observation every January and my love handles are still there.
